Sometimes we take it for granted that we get to listen, each week, to our God-annointed pastor! And sometimes if our pastor is away, we still are blessed by the Sunday's speaker. If you missed the May 31st sermon, you're in for a treat . . . Mr. Harold Templeton shared the Sunday message. We're starting a new study in the Book of Acts this Saturday, June 6. The book starts about 30 AD, when Christ ascended into heaven and ends about 60 AD or so, just before Paul was martyred in Rome.
This Saturday, we'll look at who wrote the book, to whom it was written, some of the last words of Jesus before His ascension, and the first things the Apostles did (there were two things).
We meet each Saturday at the church, from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM and enjoy some donuts, pastries, or other light breakfast-type food while we discuss the Scriptures. See you there!
