Dear Men of Valor,
There are lots of handicapped individuals around us. For the most part, they are invisible to most of us. The same was true in first century Jerusalem. People who were handicapped in those days had friends or relatives place them in locations where there would be lots of people, giving them a higher chance of someone giving them some money (alms).
Peter and John came across a man who was crippled in his feet since birth. They saw him, interacted with him, and gave him something he never expected.
To find out what happened and see all the details and ramifications, come Saturday morning at 8:00 AM. Even if you know this story, I guarantee there are some aspects of it that you never thought of.
We meet at the church every Saturday, beginning at 8:00-9:30 AM so you can get to those projects you were planning to complete. We also have some light breakfast-type food such as donuts, pastries, or other finger-lickin'-good stuff. Hope to see you there! Access our study material by clicking the link, here.
Would you be willing to serve on a team & help plan? This year it will be for our students/guests etc. (on a small scale) . . . some of our kids have not experienced a VBS.
