We're coming to the end of II Kings, the Kingdom of Judah, and the line of kings descended from David. Just like the Kingdom of Israel was conquered and demolished by Assyria, the Kingdom of Judah will be conquered and demolished by Babylon. And it's brutal. In addition to starving the inhabitants of Jerusalem for a year and a half, we find the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, killing all the sons of the King of Judah, Zedekiah, and then gouging out the king's eyes.
It's been only 22½ years since the death of one of the best kings in Judah's history. What do you consider the peak of the United States? Will we survive for 22½ years after the peak?  The evil in our country is unlike anything that was experienced by our parents & grandparents.
We meet each Saturday at the church, from 8-9:30AM and enjoy some donuts, pastries, or other light breakfast-type food. I hope you can make it!
