The nation of Israel (the northern 10 tribes, also referred to as Samaria) is coming to an end. The year is 753 BC and it comes to an end just 31 years later at the hands of the Assyrians.
During these final years, we have a bunch of short-timers, kings who don't reign very long. We have one king who reigned only six months, and his successor lasted only four weeks! Then we have one who reigned for ten years, but his son reigned only two years! Of these four kings, three gained the throne by assassination! The nation was out of control! It almost sounds like America!
We meet each Saturday at the church, from 8:00-9:30 AM and enjoy some donuts, pastries, or other light breakfast-type food. I hope you can make it! Check out this Saturday's lesson material on the men's ministry page, here.
