Are You New to FCC?

If you are new to FCC you’ll find that we seek to provide a loving, caring and very friendly environment in which we try our best to effectively minister to the spiritual and physical needs of those people who come through our doors. Our goal is to carry out all we do to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

The dominant reason for FCC to exist is Preaching Salvation Through Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world in obedience to Jesus’ commands in Matthew 28:18–20 and Acts 1:8. Therefore, we welcome and encourage those who don’t know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to walk through our doors. We want to tell you about Jesus Christ so you walk out of our doors saved and on the road to Heaven.

Our Worship Team comprises singers and musicians who lead the congregation in praising God through music and song. The typical song falls with the category of “contemporary worship music.” We are, however, careful to ensure that the lyrics do not violate any biblical teaching and the music does not in any way dishonor God.

While we encourage modest dress, there are no dress codes, written or unwritten, at FCC. We merely ask that a person arrive ready to listen to God speak to them though our teaching of God’s Word, music that gives glory to God Almighty, and preaching the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, and God’s Word for the sanctification of the saints.

FCC’s current Sunday School comprises two children’s classes, one youth class, and several adult classes. Details about each class are either available from the church office (office@fccnet.org or 615-799-7716) or set out in the respective ministry page.

In reference to our leadership, FCC is an autonomous church that practices an elder form of church government. Our elders meet the qualifications set out by 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. Our Deacon Ministry comprises deacons and deaconesses who meet the qualifications of (1 Timothy 3:8-12).
