Worship Team
God’s Word describes instrumental and vocal music as an important component of worshipping God. For example, Psalm 95:1 (NASB95) teaches:
1 O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
And Hebrews 2:11–12 (NASB95) reads:
11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying, “I WILL PROCLAIM YOUR NAME TO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION I WILL SING YOUR PRAISE.”
Therefore, consistent with the teaching of God’s Word, the mission of the Worship Team Ministry at FCC is to help provide an appropriate worship environment through

instrumental and vocal music in the Sunday morning worship service to enhance FCC’s goal of Preaching Salvation Through Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.
The Worship Team Ministry at FCC also provides appropriate instrumental and vocal music to support other events or activities under the auspices of FCC.
The FCC Worship Team Ministry is constantly looking for ways to improve its ministry function which includes providing opportunities for people to use their God-given musical abilities. Anyone who has an interest in serving on the Worship Team should contact the church office to discuss any possible role to suit their talents and schedule an audition.
